Important Recertification Update The Professional Certification Board (PCB) is pleased to announce that the Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit will be the new standard of measure for calculating recertification credits. After extensive benchmarking and review of the various systems used by similar credentialing bodies, the PCB decided the CPE proved best suited to the ASIS International certification programs. The CPE recertification system will go into effect January 1, 2008 for all designations - Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Professional Certified Investigator (PCI), and Physical Security Professional (PSP). Bill education benefits. Up to a maximum of $2,000 per test can be recompensed in exam costs, but not to exceed the actual cost of the test. Benefits can still be received to retake a test that was previously failed.
