The ASIS Foundation
The ASIS Foundation, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, provides
funding and manages endowments for academic, strategic, and professional
development activities. Support for the Foundation is achieved through
financial contributions from individuals, chapters, and companies
with an interest in the security industry. The Foundation advances
industry education and research by:
- Developing academic programs
- Producing special industry reports and research
- Recognizing security-related advancements and achievements
- Managing endowments for chapters and regions
- Encouraging continuing education

What's New
The 2008
ASIS Foundation Student Writing Competition rewards students
for writing high-quality academic papers on security and asset protection
issues. Submissions due December 15, 2008.
The Foundation held its 12th Annual Golf Classic on September 14
at the Smoke Rise Golf and Country Club. Golfers enjoyed a spectacular
day on the links-all while raising funds for the Foundation's philanthropic
efforts. Special thanks to our volunteers and sponsors for making
